The 11th annual Howe Sound Music Festival (HSMF) saw students showcase their skills in piano, vocal and choral categories in Squamish and Whistler from April 10 to 15.
According to Veronica McPhee, executive director of the HSMF, it was another strong year for the event.
"This year's festival was a great success with 43 different performers achieving gold in piano, voice and choral classes," she said. "The adjudicators, Arne Sahlen (piano) and Megan Skidmore (vocal/choral), selected deserving students to receive scholarships donated by generous community members."
