Search and rescue crews from north-central 小蓝视频 are now helping in the effort to find of a 13-year-old boy who went missing earlier this week.
Yesterday (March 25), Prince George Mounties released a statement asking for the public's help in finding 'Luke,' whom investigators say he was last believed to be travelling south on Highway 97.
Since then, Nechako Valley Search and Rescue, as well as Central Cariboo Search and Rescue, have begun helping in the search for the boy, starting in Hixon last night.
Other search and rescue teams include Quesnel Search and Rescue, South Cariboo and Bulkley Valley.
RCMP spokesperson Cst. Jennifer Cooper tells PrinceGeorgeMatters this morning (March 26) there are currently no updates in the search for 'Luke.'
He's not been seen since 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday (March 24) and, according to police, for his age level, he may not be able to comprehend conversation.
A last name for 'Luke' has not been provided by RCMP at this time, nor a mode of transportation.
He's described as:
- White
- 4'0"
- Slim build
- Light brown/blond, curly hair
- Hazel eyes
- Last seen wearing:
- Green and yellow coat with noticable duct tape
- Black hoodie
- Black pants
- Possibly carrying a ball of twine attached to his belt
- May have a 'P.J. Masks' backpack with extra clothes inside
