The four-day debate over the year鈥檚 must-read returns March 17 with host Ali Hassan presiding over the theme, 鈥淥ne Book to Change the Narrative.鈥�
Mac Neil of London, Ont., will champion Samantha M. Bailey鈥檚 psychological thriller 鈥淲atch Out for Her,鈥� while Toronto's Barclay backs Wayne Johnston鈥檚 鈥淛ennie鈥檚 Boy,鈥� which nabbed the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour in 2023.
From Vancouver, 鈥淗eartland鈥� star Michelle Morgan takes on 鈥淓tta and Otto and Russell and James鈥� by Emma Hooper, while Calgary pastry chef and neuroscientist Sa茂d M鈥橠ahoma has 鈥淒andelion鈥� by Jamie Chai Yun Liew.
Vancouver podcaster and wellness advocate Shayla Stonechild will champion 鈥淎 Two-Spirit Journey鈥� by Ma-Nee Chacaby, with Mary Louisa Plummer.
One book per day will be eliminated until a winner is declared March 20.
