Twenty students and two staff have been asked to self-monitor following two more recent potential COVID-19 exposures at Squamish schools.

Vancouver Coastal Health has announced the first occurred on April 6 at Squamish Elementary.

Days later, on April 9, authorities found a potential exposure occurred at Valleycliffe Elementary, as well.

The incidents occurred after spring break had finished, said Phillip Clarke, director of instruction at SD48.
