小蓝视频’s health-care and social assistance sector is projected to generate more job openings through to 2034 than any other industry in the province.
That’s according to the 2024 小蓝视频 Labour Market Outlook released this past Friday that says the sector will account for 16 per cent (178,100) of the projected 1.12 million total job openings. The sector is expected to have the most openings mainly due to an aging population, said the report.
Compared to last year’s 2023-33 market outlook, total projected openings are up by 122,000.
According to the report, the professional and technical services sector will be responsible for 13 per cent of the openings, with demand mainly driven by technological advancements.
The total number of 小蓝视频 workers is expected to grow from 2.8 million to 3.3 million between 2024 and 2034.
