Florencia Espi帽eira Herreros won the inaugural UCI E-Enduro World Cup title.

In the UCI World Cup women’s e-bike race on September 17, Tracy Moseley of Great Britain put on a dominant display to take the first three stages. Germany's Ines Thoma would claim two stage wins, whilst former EWS-E champion Laura Charles from France won one.

None of them could stop Florencia Espiñeira Herreros from securing both the win and with it, the inaugural E-Enduro Series overall title.

It will go down as the tightest e-bike women’s finish to date, with Espiñeira Herreros beating Moseley by just four tenths of a second after ten stages of racing. Ines Thoma finished 41 seconds back to take third.

Espiñeira Herreros was joined on the overall series podium by Laura Charles in second and Germany’s Ines Thoma in third.

Meanwhile in the men’s event, series leader Fabien Barel snatched defeat from the jaws of victory when a 60-second penalty applied for a missed section of liaison cost him the race lead he’d enjoyed from the second he left the start gate. The mistake left Brael back in ninth and handed victory to fellow Frenchman Kevin Marry. He was less than two tenths of a second ahead of Portuguese runner-up Tiago Ladeira, leaving  of Australia to earn bronze.

Marry and Ladeira wound up second and third in the men's overall rankings.
