Happy Thursday, Whistler! Here's how it's looking out there so far.

Today's calls for showers with a high of about 9 C in Whistler. A low of 0 C is expected overnight, with a chance of showers or wet flurries. Looking to tomorrow, the forecast calls for showers or wet flurries, with a high of about 8 C. 

, Whistler Blackcomb is forecasting cloudy skies with sunny periods and isolated flurries, with a high of about -1 C, a low of about -2 C, and light winds. The freezing level sits at about 1,600 metres. The mountain operator is reporting one centimetre of fresh snow in the past 12 hours, and a base depth of about 247 cm. 

WB is reporting 51 groomed runs and 696 acres on Whistler, and 64 groomed runs and 742 acres on Blackcomb.

Both alpine and mid-mountain surface conditions are listed as spring conditions.

"A mild southerly flow continues to bring wet flurries to the region this morning and tonight before temperatures cool slightly and snowfall activity continues into the first half of the weekend. A short break in precipitation is then expected on Sunday with some sunny breaks before more flurry activity dominates again on Monday," WB said in its morning report.

The avalanche danger rating in the Sea to Sky is currently considerable, .

"Watch for reactive storm slabs building through the day at treeline and above. Strong south winds will load leeward slopes (north-east), building deeper slabs," the forecaster said on its website.

is showing no major disruptions on Highway 99 south of Whistler this morning. North of Pemberton, the Duffey is still fully closed, with no detour available, due to high avalanche hazard between Lil'wat Pl and Seton Lake Rd for 9.6 km (36 km north of Pemberton to 39 km south of Lillooet).
