A wildfire north of Pemberton is still burning out of control and has grown to 10 hectares in size, according to the 小蓝视频 Wildfire Service (小蓝视频WS).
The fire is about 43 kilometres northwest of Pemberton on Sessel Mountain near the Hurley River, the 小蓝视频WS said in a on July 3.
"Ground personnel initially responded on July 1 with assistance from a helicopter and air tankers, this incident will now receive a modified response due to the steep terrain. The wildfire will continue to be monitored from the air, assessing for response opportunities and access," 小蓝视频WS said.
"This wildfire may be visible to Pemberton, Gold Bridge and surrounding areas. The wildfire is burning in the vicinity of the Hurley FSR, but the road is not impacted at this time."
The fire is suspected to be lightning-caused.
