The Sports Illustrated Clubhouse is coming to U小蓝视频 in Vancouver.

Would you go to a restaurant based on a sports magazine?

The people behind the Sports Illustrated Clubhouse are betting many will, as the popular sports brand is lending its name to something new at U小蓝视频.

"Vancouver get ready, there’s a new player in town," announces an Instagram account for the new eatery .

The new concept is opening its first location at U小蓝视频, according to a LinkedIn job posting, moving into the space at 3340 Shrum Lane.

Details haven't been released by those behind the new concept about what it'll look like, but ads for jobs online suggest the bar and restaurant will be open for lunch service and open as late as 1 a.m. A hiring fair was listed for July 22 with a variety of jobs listed.

A website for Sports Illustrated Eats is listed on the clubhouse's Instagram page, but leads to Sports Illustrated's homepage right now. Sports Illustrated Eats was also launched as a media enterprise in 2017, creating content around food and sports, but recently.

Food isn't the only expansion that appears to be on Sports Illustrated's mind. They've just launched Sports Illustrated Resorts; the first branded resort opened in January 2023 in the Dominican Republic.

Locally, it appears they've partnered with the company behind Biercraft. When their U小蓝视频 location closed Biercraft posted to Instagram suggesting the company would stay involved with the location, but under a different name.

"We will be closing the Biercraft U小蓝视频 location as of May 1 to make way for a new concept in Wesbrook Village," they wrote in a post.

There's still a Biercraft open at SFU's UniverCity. The company flipped its Commercial Drive location into Community Taps + Pizza in 2021 and closed its Cambie location in 2022.
