The local 小蓝视频 Hydro bonspiel took to the ice sheet at the Howe Sound Curling Club on Sunday.
This is the longest-running local company bonspiel in Squamish, according to the 小蓝视频 Hydro’s Laroy Watt.
About 50 curlers and friends attended the event, with the Nathan Webb team winning for the second consecutive year.
The Crown corporation’s Squamish bonspiel has run since 1977. That is 48 years minus the COVID-19 years, when gatherings were restricted.
“Years ago, every large company had an annual spiel: Woodfibre, 小蓝视频 Rail, Weldwood, the hospital. There may have been a few others,” Watt told The 小蓝视频.
