Obituary: Hazel Ainscough

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 3 p.m., Kingdom Hall of Jehovah鈥檚 Witnesses, 1869 Harris Road, Squamish.

1942 - 2024 

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our mom, Hazel Ainscough of Squamish, 小蓝视频 After a long battle with cancer, Hazel passed away peacefully at the age of 82, attended by her children at the Squamish Hospice on Sunday, April 21, 2024. 

Hazel was born on January 23, 1942, in Horwich, England. She was the daughter of the late Albert and May (Stephens) Bromilow. 

Hazel will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Vicki Goodwin (Jonny) and Wendy Tower (Dan), both of Squamish and one son, Michael Ainscough (Tamara) of Rexton N.B., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Hazel is also survived by two sisters, Audrey Salt (Chetwynd, 小蓝视频) and Lynn Williams (Bolton, U.K.) 

Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Bill, and both her parents and one sister, Irene Howarth. 

Our sincere thanks to all the Drs and nurses at Squamish VCH Community Home Health Care and the Squamish Hospice for all the wonderful care given to our mom and to all the friends who came to visit with her during her stay at Hospice.
