It is with saddened hearts that we share the news of the passing of John Gordon Rigg on May 5, 2023. He passed away peacefully at the age of 85 with his family by his side.
John will be remembered for his robust sense of humour, his independence and determination, and most of all, his deep love for his family.
Although we are sad he is no longer with us, we are deeply grateful for the past two years we had together, sharing our life in Squamish.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks for the amazing support provided by the teams at Shannon Falls Retirement Residence, Vancouver Coastal Health, Squamish Medical Clinic, Squamish General Hospital, Sea to Sky Hospice, and For The One You Love.
We know he is now at peace, enjoying some "fresh air" and looking down on us with his late wife, Marilyn.
