Squamish eagles galore: Sunday is the 38th Annual Brackendale Winter Eagle Count

Each year, on the first Sunday after New Year鈥檚 Day, volunteers conduct the count, covering approximately 20 areas from the Elaho to downtown Squamish, and from Paradise Valley to the Stawamus River.聽

Eagles can be spotted all around Squamish from about October through to February. 

Sunday, Jan. 7, marks the 38th Annual Brackendale Winter Eagle Count.

The count is done rain, shine or blizzard. 

Experienced and new volunteers are welcome.
