Squamish photographer has nabbed a third-place spot in the photography contest for the second year in a row.
His image of a pygmy owl earned a nod in the Wild Settings category.
Last year, Nadeau earned a third-place finish with a photograph of a grizzly bear.
"With more than 500 photos submitted, choosing the top picks was a challenge for the contest judges," said Andrea Wallace, 小蓝视频 SPCA's manager of wild animal welfare, in a news release about the 2024 winners. "We want to thank all the participants for sharing their amazing photos of 小蓝视频's diverse wildlife and helping to raise $8,426 to help 小蓝视频 SPCA's Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre care for injured and orphaned wild animals."
The contest has two categories: Backyard Habitats for wildlife captured in backyards, and Wild Settings, with animals in their natural habitat.
