The Live at Squamish music festival will be back for a third year this summer.
Organizers of the event shared the dates with eager fans on Twitter earlier this week. The main festival is scheduled to take place on Aug. 25 and 26, with three or four acts performing on Aug. 24 for locals and campers, just as they did last year.
Last year's event, which featured artists like Weezer and Metric, drew 16,600 festival goers, an increase of 28 per cent from the inaugural event in 2010.
According to the Live at Squamish Twitter account, the group has begun sending out offers to artists but nothing has been announced as of press time. Last year, the group announced headliners Weezer, Metric and the John Butler Trio on April 4.
