Underworld overrated

There is only so much you're legally allowed to expect from a movie about werewolves and vampires. Rest assured it has both, but that is all you're going to get. But what do I know? I'm just a homosapien.

Rest assured it has both, but that is all you're going to get. But what do I know? I'm just a homosapien. Perhaps this film paints an accurate portrait, lets ask some experts.

Bob Mcloud (werewolf):

On behalf of my clan I appreciate the opportunity to articulate my musings upon this most recent Hollywood depiction of my people.

First off, I must admit that in this film we come off hmmm, how shall we say less than hygienic.

For those concerned about the sequel aspect - don't fret. Clearly the director was completely focused on his overuse of blurry flashback footage from the first film, so that viewers not miss all the irrelevant details.

That would explain his complete disregard for truly capturing the je ne sais quoi of what it is to be of the furry kind.

The brief battle scenes are of passing quality but they are hardly enough to balance out the depressingly predictable mediocrity that is the storyline. While this film may entertain those humans not fully formed, I understand it is rated for those older than 18.

Pity, for those are the only ones who won't be horribly offended by the disturbingly cheesy mating scene which, if I may take the liberty of speaking on behalf of my nocturnal brethren, is an insult to both werewolves and vampires.

Count Doug (vampire):

BlAh-dy awful.
