Laura Szanto, Matt Bruhns, Steffi Jade, Nicolas Teichrob, and wild card entrant Anatole Tulzak comprise the five finalists at this year's Sea to Sky Photo Challenge.
Szanto, an internationally renowned commercial and editorial photographer based in Revelstoke, brings experience with clients such as National Geographic, Nikon Canada and Liv Cycling.
New Yorker Bruhns has immersed himself in British Columbia's Coast Mountains for a decade. In addition to his picture-taking skills, he is known for his coffee-roasting prowess in Pemberton.
Jade, who's originally from the Canadian Rockies, followed her passion to the shores of California where she now works as a full-time surf photographer.
Ucluelet, 小蓝视频 resident Teichrob blends adventure with environmental advocacy through visual storytelling in photography and film. With a background in hydrology, Teichrob co-founded Dendrite Studios and the nonprofit Take a Stand: Youth for Conservation.
Tulzak's skills represent the intersection of outdoor photography and aerial cinematography. The Yukon-born Squamolian focuses on landscape, action sports, and adventure lifestyle photography.
Judging the 2024 competition are Sterling Lorence, Abby Cooper, Blake Jorgenson, Robin O’Neill, and Scott Serfas.
