Invictus Games tickets now on sale

From Feb. 8 to 16, 2025, the will bring adaptive sporting events to Whistler and Vancouver. The international competition for service members and veterans sees 550 competitors from 25 countries compete in 11 adaptive sports.

The at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, and along with cheering on athletes from around the world, attendees can take in performances by three major headliners: Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado and Roxane Bruneau, with more performers to be announced.

Announcements for closing ceremony performers are also still to come.

“You can feel the energy growing with our launch of public ticket sales… and our steady progress on hitting every major milestone at just over five months to go,” said Scott Moore, CEO of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, in a press release.

Preparation for the Games is well underway, with 1,400 volunteers supporting the event in various roles. Merchandise will show up in late October at various retailers and online.

In advance of the Games, upgrades are slated for various locations. The Whistler Sliding Centre’s prep includes paving a spectator viewing area, and a basketball court is being refurbished at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Branding for the Games is going onto the curling sheets at the Hillcrest Recreation Centre.

Regulars at Vancouver International Airport can stop and appreciate a new I AM structure for photo ops, located at United States departures. It’s the sixth of 10 signs throughout iconic locations in Vancouver. The 400-pound, eight-foot-tall structure will soon show up at four other spots.

The Invictus Games is presented by ATCO and Boeing, and the goal of the Games is to “inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who have served their country,” according to the release.
