If you were wondering what all the sirens and flashing lights were about last night, emergency responders were called to a single-car motor vehicle incident on the 9500 block of Squamish Valley Road.
No one was hurt.
The incident took place at around 9:27 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Squamish Fire Rescue responded with two rescue apparatus and a command vehicle, working in collaboration with the RCMP and 小蓝视频 Ambulance Service (小蓝视频AS).
“Squamish Fire Rescue crews stabilized the emergency scene, assisted 小蓝视频AS with patient assessments and ensured the vehicle hazards were mitigated,” said District of Squamish media specialist Rachel Boguski in an email to The 小蓝视频.
The scene was later handed over to the RCMP.
“There was a motor vehicle incident in that area,” said RCMP’s Kelly Wu, in an email to The 小蓝视频.
“I don’t have any further information to provide aside from no serious injuries sustained,” she said.
