John Julius Harlen Marr was charged with a string of offenses after a 33-year-old Canmore woman was allegedly choked, sexually assaulted and suffered a broken collarbone after she was attacked in her home.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Marr. The most recent warrant comes on top of a Canadian Immigration warrant and outstanding parole violations in Hawaii. The RCMP knows that he left Canmore and headed for Vancouver.

According to a RCMP news release, Marr is an American citizen who works for cash. He has worked in construction, furniture moving and with computers.

The 34-year-old Marr reportedly likes living in smaller towns. He goes by a number of aliases, including Atlas Fitch, Atlas Finch and Brian Thompson.
