Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to Don Ross Middle School on March 17 to experience rugby in a fun and safe manner.
Facilitated by the upcoming "Try Rugby" session will be a non-contact introduction to the sport intended to allow youth to dive in with confidence and enthusiasm.
"Joining our event means more than just trying a new sport; it's an invitation to be a part of a supportive and nurturing community," said Axemen captain Neil Irwin in an email. "Our club prides itself on creating opportunities for young athletes to develop not only their rugby skills but also important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
"By participating in rugby, youth gain more than just physical fitness—they gain friendships, mentors, and a sense of belonging. Our coaches are dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every player feels valued and supported."
