Chalk up another victory for Wei Tien Ho.

The 18-year-old took first place on May 7 at the Squamish Enduro, finishing in a time of 21 minutes, 31.045 seconds. That pace put him well ahead of Dane Jewett, a Squamish-based rider who claimed second in 21:52.524. Vancouver Island's Zachary Rebitt rounded out the U21 Elite Men's podium in 22:26.149.

Ho has long been on the radar of Sea to Sky mountain bike fans as and this weekend, he again proved why. The Whistlerite's time would have netted him third if he'd been competing in the Pro Men's field. As is, Rhys Verner prevailed in that category (20:44.613), besting fellow Squamolians Jack Menzies (21:23.805) and Remi Gauvin (21:35.424).

Locals topped the women's podiums as well. Lily Boucher claimed the win in her U21 elite event (28:05.971) ahead of Elly Hoskin (28:26.438) and Jade Blouin-Comeau (30:00.184). On the Pro side, Andreane Lantheir Nadeau (25:48.609) distinguished herself over Emmy Lan (26:56.008) and Florencia Espineira Herreros (27:09.360).
