McKenna — the expected No. 1 pick for the 2026 NHL draft — accomplished the feat in only 49 games.

The 17-year-old from Whitehorse had two assists on Friday, bringing his season totals to 30 goals and 71 helpers for 101 points.

Only Andrew Cristall, a 20-year-old with the Spokane Chiefs, has more in the WHL. Cristall has 108 points in 45 games.

Landon Hanson had a goal and two assists for the Oil Kings, while Gavin Hodnett produced three assists.

Elsewhere in the WHL, the Calgary Hitmen blanked the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-0, the Everett Silvertips beat the Portland Winterhawks 4-1, the Vancouver Giants won 5-1 over the Kelowna Rockets and the Lethbridge Hurricanes edged the Kamloops Blazers 5-4 in a shootout.

The Prince Albert Raiders defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-1, the Saskatoon Blades prevailed 3-2 in overtime against the Red Deer Rebels, Spokane won a 9-6 barnburner against the Tri-City Americans and the Regina Pats beat the Swift Current Broncos 4-1.

Later, the Victoria Royals triumphed 5-3 against the Prince George Cougars and the Wenatchee Wild beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 2-1 in overtime.
