About 403 小蓝视频 readers responded to our online poll asking the question: Do you agree with council's decision that defeated the WLNG floatel application?

On April 30, District of Squamish council defeated the temporary use permit application for Woodfibre LNG’s floating worker accommodation, a floatel.

The vote in council chambers came week after a public hearing at Brennan Park Recreation Centre that saw at least 200 attendees, the majority voicing their opposition to the floatel, and the project as a whole.

On May 9, during a media tour of the ship, WLNG president Christine Kennedy said that the company was continuing to work toward a way forward with the District, despite the council vote.

There is a clear local versus non-resident difference in the poll results.
