Starting today, Sept. 5, dog owners can enter the contest by collecting as much cash as possible for the СÀ¶ÊÓƵ SPCA.

The group has a history of keeping seniors united with their best friends. Now they want to expand on the North Shore.

If you see a rat in your area, that is likely your "neighbourhood rat."

The Fountainhead Network Studios in Port Coquitlam had a surprise guest to their members' entrance while hosting a busy week of free collaboration.

"Council is pleased that Pitt Meadows animal shelter services will be provided by a well-established municipally operated shelter that also services neighbouring communities," writes Mayor Nicole MacDonald.

Coquitlam has also increased bylaw patrols in the parks to educate and enforce the temporary ban.
