One of Canada's most beloved actors is taking viewers on a "reluctant" tour of some of the world's most awe-inspiring destinations in a new travel show.
Eugene Levy is best known for his work on the popular show Schitt's Creek and in feature films including Best in Show, National Lampoon's Vacation, Splash, and several other blockbusters.
Known for his flustered, unconventional comedy, the critically-acclaimed Canuck makes a departure from his typical style and steps into the role of travel host for a new AppleTV+ show aptly titled The Reluctant Traveler.
"I'm in the Arctic circle and the big question for me is: why?" quips the funnyman at the start of the video.
After noting that the "great outdoors means different things to different people," Levy remarks that he's more of a "great indoors type of guy."

While he's venturing outside of his comfort zone for the show, Levy leans into his trademark humour to inject some flavour into the dialogue. During one scene, he comments to someone that they are looking at a "beautiful mountain" and the person corrects him, remarking that it is in fact "a volcano."
In addition to Levy's charming presence, the show is visually stunning, featuring some of the world's most coveted destinations.
The actor also participates in a variety of activities, ranging from cultural to adventurous to downright bizarre. In one scene, he comments that it was the first time he'd ever had his "hand up an elephant's a**."
