Simon Mullen, Vincent Collard and Simon Binkley produced a goal and an assist each, while Julius Sumpf and Markus Vidicek also scored for Moncton.

Wildcats netminder Rudy Guimond made 20 saves to earn the shutout. Eagles netminder Jakub Milota stopped 34 of 40 shots.

The Shawinigan Cataractes crushed the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-0 and the Quebec Remparts edged the Val-d'Or Foreurs 4-3 in overtime.
