Story:It's absurd to think that a casino is good for anyone, let alone the Squamish Nation.

Re: "Be a responsible pet owner, please!" letter to The Chief, Feb. 20. That dog was my dog and his name is Longhorn, named after the bar in Whistler where I used to live and work.

The Province of British Columbia has proclaimed March 4 as "TB Vets Day" for the second year in a row. This official proclamation is in honour of our extensive charitable contributions to communities throughout 小蓝视频 over the past six decades.

I'm going to set up a lemonade stand on Highway 99. This return to my childhood is not because I enjoy serving beverages nor is it because I like the pang of lemon juice in my eyes.

One of the things that makes Squamish such an amazing and unique community is its incredible level of volunteerism.

I'm relieved to hear that Triack Resources Ltd. is closing its doors in Brackendale. Our family has been exposed to high levels of jet engine-like noise from their worksite.

Squamish no longer exists. This is the thought that runs through my mind when I hear about the countdown to the Vancouver-Whistler 2010. As I read the Vancouver metro newspaper, I'm disappointed that nothing is said about Squamish.
